Some of you might not have heard of Wuzhen well that is common as it is not a very big and well known city as compared to Beijing, Shanghai or even Nanjing. It is in fact just a small water village that recently been open to visitors around the world.

It is a historic scenic town, part of Tongxiang, in northern Zhejiang Province, China. It lies within the triangle formed by Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai. There are many districts in Wuzhen and mainly they are the traditional workshops district, the traditional local-styled dwelling houses district, the traditional culture district, the traditional food and beverage district, the traditional shops and stores district, and water township customs and life district.

During our stay there we actually stay in the  local-styled dwelling houses district. Yup not a hotel but rather the home of the local. Of cos the rooms had been renovated to 4 stars standards and actually it is pretty comfortable to stay in one especially during the winter and spring period.

Anyway below are the photos and do take note of the room we actually stay in and the breakfast which our owner of the house we stay in prepared for us.

It sure is. And if your home stay owner is kind you might get free deserts after dinner too :)
